Psalm 16

You show me the path of life.
In your presence there is fullness of joy;
in your right hand are pleasures for evermore.

Today's psalms are manic.

The twenty-second psalm cries out:

I am poured out like water,
and all my bones are out of joint;
my heart is like wax;
it is melted within my breast;
my mouth is dried up like a potsherd,
and my tongue sticks to my jaws;
you lay me in the dust of death.

I know this draining until completely dry.

But God is always ready to re-fill.

The sixteenth psalm is not only speaking of spiritual joy.

This is overflowing pleasure, mirth, and gladness.

From God's right hand gushes beautiful, sweetly sounding music.

Filling my eyes, ears, every sense, heart, and mind.
