O Lord, we beseech you, give us success!
One way or another, this is often (usually?) my prayer.
The original Hebrew translated as success can mean profit, prosperity, progress, advance.
The same psalm also offers:
Open to me the gates of righteousness,
that I may enter through them
and give thanks to the Lord.
This is the better prayer and a more promising path to meaningful progress.
