Psalm 33

Our soul waits for the Lord;
he is our help and shield.
Our heart is glad in him,
because we trust in his holy name.
Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you.

We trust in the particular identity of God.

We are confident of God's character.

We know God to be loving, kind, and merciful.

We rejoice in the present.

We prepare ourselves for the unfolding of That Which Exists.
