Restore us, O God;
let your face shine, that we may be saved.

The Hebrew paniym is the noun form (face) of panah (to turn).
What is translated above as restore - schuwb - is literally to turn or turn back.
Unwind us, loosen us, untangle us, release us.
Free us from our confusion, restore us to your intention.
