The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?
...Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war rise up against me,
yet I will be confident.
Worry, fear, envy, anger are not helpful.
Watchfulness, caution, attention, and action are very helpful.
Through my relationship with God fear can be overcome.
This does not mean I will be spared fearful experience.
But I can choose to be bold and confident by trusting in God.
